Violent Bouncers
By spinnin_pinz, July 28, 2011

Overall rating:

I've been to Suite several times. It seems like nearly every time I go, you see the bouncers slamming someone against a wall and ramming a knee into their back. The last time it went too far when a bouncer threw someone into our entire table, hurting me and several of my friends at the table. Less steroids and more law suits hopefully will cure the problem there, but I'm completely turned off from the club right now.

Never been to Suite but always wanted to! Sadly after reading these reviews..and being a minority there is no way in hell I ever will!! Suite, I hope you know you are only hurting your buisness by giving this racist and unconsiderate image. yeah i get it you only want your club to look nice..but the approach seems too much and people are offended obviously. My friends and I will go spend our money else where

"The Hustle"
By scott7171, January 2, 2011

This place is a joke! First you are always told that the only way you can realy get in is if you buy a bottle. When you get in you realize you have just been hustled only to be sat in a high traffic area with no room to move.
At the end of the night you will be treated like a dirt bag and "treatened" to get the "eff" out!!!
I will never go here again and wouldn't recomend it to anyone!!

CHARGED TWICE FOR BOTTLE SERVICE
By Amberado, December 14, 2010

Overall rating:

We were in for a friends birthday party and were doing bottle service. We got the VIP in hopes of having some room for ourselves and it filled up with drunks who were not buying bottles and should not have been allowed in there. At the end of the night the bouncers were stressing that we had to go even though we had not even paid yet!! After trying to get na itemized receipt and paying our tab in full with cash we were proceeded to be pushed out the front door. After looking at my bank account the next day there were 4 seperate transactions totaling up to $950 which I did not authorize and now am overdrawn on my account. I have been speaking with the manager and my bank. This place is a joke! Do not waste your time or money!!! Doormen are a little overzealous about their job. You are only security buddy!

Suite 200 Thumbs Down & Yes - Racist!
By Martino2010, November 19, 2010

@ kk77 - My friends were all dressed right and all have very good careers. None of them are G's, Thugs, or any other terms that you associate with minorities. If you are defending the actions of this club you are a racist and you don't even know it! Under no circumstances is if fair to only let in minorities if they buy bottle service! We bought 5 bottles, but we should have at least had the option to pay the $15 cover to get in! They would not even give us the option!!! When we got in there were plenty of non-minorites dress in less to impress clothing and walking around drinking $4 beers! If you don't agree just add another "k" to your user name to represent yourself correct!

Suite

I find the last comment funny. I do agree that the door guys are a bit overboard at times but they are trying to keep the club clean and safe. If you dont want that and you want to be a G and be all thugged out, perhaps you need to go to the bar down the street. If your wanting to party it up at Suite, Dress to Impress! My friends and I (white, arib, hispanic, etc) have been going to Suite since it opened and there has been the occasional times were we have been denied to go in to the club, simply cause of dress code not cause they are being racist. We have had to pay cover a few times and sometimes we dont, its the nature of business. There are three general lines there, Men, Women and VIP, not by race by any means. Being a promoter, I see that this happens at every club, just not Suite. Further more, if you have been to Suite (with in the last 6 months) you could clearly see that the place is far from racist. So maybe the door staff sucks but once you get into the club, its definietely a good time! If you are wanting to party it up at Suite, I would recommend getting there early. Earlier the better and less issues at the door.

Suite 200 is Racist
By Martino2010, November 18, 2010

Yes, they have an Arib owner, but that is the only thing ethnic about the place! They play a little hip/hop, but then change to techno music as the night goes on. They have seperate lines outside for Minorities and Whites. The only way minorities can get into the club is by buying Bottle Service or if 2 minorities or less they will let you in for a $15 cover. They do this to keep minorities out of the club and to keep the club primarily white. This was said by their staff!!! If they charge minorities and make them wait in line, most end up leaving! That is racist and I will NEVER go back to this club! All of the door men suffer from small mans complex... Go there and just watch if you want see racism in action!

contest rigged
By buttercow, November 1, 2010

Went to Suite 200 for the halloween contest this year. There were some fabulous costumes! The event was not very well organized. Come to find out that the victoria secret angels, who won the $2000 prize, were employees of the club! How fair is that. There were several people there that put a lot of effort into their costumes and deserved at least a chance to win. Won't be returning to that club ever.

worst bar i have been to in denver...and i love the club scene
By daisy01, September 11, 2010

Suite 200 is full of pretentious people who spent at least 3-4 hours getting ready to go out there...most of them look like they tried for a high school prom, but probably looked better at the actual one, when their lives peaked. I have always loved the club scene; I love to get dressed up, and I love to dance, so while I never liked the crowd at Suite 200, I continued to go because they generally play good dance music. However, tonight will be the last time. I was on my first drink and was knocked down by some drunk-ass full-of-himself guy. When he knocked me down, my drink, a cranberry and vodka, sprayed everywhere, including on his white jacket. He said, "You're gonna pay for that," then proceeded to go tell the bouncer I threw my drink on him for no reason. I was then kicked out of the bar. I was allowed to explain my side of the story - after I was outside - then the bouncer said he understood but there was no way he could let me back in. Not much other than what I expected, since I knew they catered to the fake, trying-to-be-something-in-Denver-when-Denver-is-not-the-city-for-that crowd, but still, it was disappointing. Bottom line...Suite 200 is a complete waste of my money and time.

It is what it is

Suite 200 is a little bit of Vegas in Denver. It is very upscale, trendy, and definitely the place to be seen. Heck the VP of marketing had Jesse Metcalf host her birthday last year and dont forget they had Lady Gaga perform there!! They do always have the hottest DJ's and the hottest people. Thats why everyone wants to go there. Of course there are going to be people that hate Suite 200 because they were wearing tennis shoes and wouldnt be let in, or had to pay a cover charge; but look guys if you want to wear tennis shoes and hats, go to Spill or Oak Tavern. But if you want to go to Suite 200, Dress up look your best and either be prepared to spend money at a table or else go out dancing on their gigantic dancefloor. And as for the people that complain about their credit card charges.... look guys Im guessing you've never had bottle service before or been to LA NY Vegas, or Miami. Every responsible club should pre authorize their patrons cc's (even for drinks). If they dont, they are getting scammed, because lets face it Americans are not the best with Credit right now. Here's a little tip for everyone out there if you dont want your card pre-authorized: Dont keep your card open, dont let them hold it at the bar, and close out immediately with your waitress once you have your table and ordered your bottles. Pretty simple, and you wont lose your CC at the end of the night either. Hope that helps.

*Pre-authorizations are when the club preauthorizes your CC for a certain amount to make sure you have money in the bank. At the end of the night the real charges are also posted. In 3-5 days the preauthorization will drop and the 'held' preauthorized money will be returned back into your account.
