There Coffee Bar & Lounge

This terrific lesbian-owned bar (sign in the front window: “Where the Girls Go”) is cozy and quiet. A perfect place to wire-up on espresso drinks, or the cocktail of your choice, and doodle away on a sketch pad. Better put, tHERe is a coffeehouse and lounge that caters to Denver's laid back GLBT community. Jody B, the owner, has been around Denver as a scene promoter, a DJ (you can still catch her at Roxy), and an artist (see some of her work in tHERe). As a coffeehouse and lounge, you can enjoy caffienated or alcoholic beverages while watching the L-word reruns, surfing the internet, listening to music, or participating in lesbian speed dating for the singles. It's also straight friendly, and a great place to sit and read, meet somebody new, or catch up with friends. They open at 7 a.m., and are centrally located on Colfax, so there is a perfect spot to get your morning go-go juice. Go here, folks!
