Proving (or so they claim) that “Crunk ain’t dead,” this club (whose name, irresistibly enough, can be abbreviated S.L.O.B.) offers balls-to-the-wall dancing to contemporary hip-hop, techno, old-school R&B and reggae, dished out by an ever-changing cast of quality DJs. Friday and Saturday nights they offer shots of Jager or tuaca at 5 for $15, and buckets of Corona for the same price. If you live in North Denver and don’t feel like driving all the way downtown, journey no further than S.L.O.B.
