Oak Tavern is a breathe of fresh air to the bar scene on Market St. I am not a big clubber but I am not about to go pal around in a bunch of dive bars either. Oak Tavern was a terrific balance with a laid back atmosphere yet very professional and refined. The staff there was also very friendly.

Awesome happy hour daily monday thru friday, with $4 cocktails and $3 appetizers. A great ladies night on thursday where ladies drink free, a FOOTBALL SUNDAY! the official sponsor of colorado rapids and denver rugby team. The staff contain a few well known locals who make a sunday night at oak tavern that much more worth it.

Just found the best new place to watch the UFC fights. Why is the Oak Tavern my favorite new place to watch the fights? One because your getting a premium $10 fight for free, the atmosphere in the place is just amazing and it gives you an excuse to get out of the house. Additionally, these Fight Nights are sponspored by local MMA fighting gyms so you can meet your favorite local MMA fighter. You are getting a great package here all for free; usually this would cost a lot, but there are two requirement's: that you bring yourself and that you are ready to have some fun!! Besides the food, which is bomb, if you mention specific ads you can get discount drinks as well as food.

If UFC Fighting is not your thing, then there are plenty of other reasons to make the Oak Tavern your new favorite spot to hang out. On Sundays they hold special events like showing the Rapids games and other sport events. Monday have to be my favorite because that's when the Karaoke Contest is and the winner gets a $25 bar tab!! Tuesdays they have $2 drinks and poker night with a chance to win another bar tab. Wednesdays hopefully you've got Lady Luck on your side, roll a 7 and you do not have a pay for drinks. Thursday is special for the Ladies, because ladies drink on the house!!

For any occasion you should come to the Oak Tavern it has everything you want and more!

The perfect place to unwind after a long week. Fun, eregtic environment, awesome drink special and food prices. $4 cocktails and $3 appetizers make sneaking off to a the neighborhood pub after work almost too easy.
A sports bar with 12 flatscreen televisions in every corner, it's easy to have fun here. I recommend trying one of their eight AMAZING potatoses. Unique and tasty, they make a nice meal or a side for sharing ;)
