New to the South of Colfax club scene, Bar Standard provides stimulus for the ears and eyes. International and national DJs spin house, electro, AfroSoul, NuJazz and indie-electronic on Friday and Saturday nights while the crowd kicks it on the dance floor. Despite the repeal of prohibition in 1933, Bar Standard has a speakeasy vibe to it though you don't have to worry about Eliot Ness and his G-Men coming through and busting the place up.
