Tobacco enthusiasts averse to the smoking ban or those simply wishing to imbibe in the quasi-open air may want to adopt Tavern Uptown as their de facto watering hole. An outdoor, heated patio section, enclosed in the winter, offers an escape from the cold and windswept sidewalk and features a full bar. Non-smokers can enjoy second-hand smoke of another sort from the historical tavern's roaring fireplace surrounded by worn-in leather couches. Fancy yourself an amateur mixologist?
