A genuine roadhouse complete with rusty signs creaking in the gusts off the Flat Irons; The Rocky Flats Lounge offers secret dining delights alongside cheap drinks and biker favorites warbling out of the jukebox. Underneath the shrine to Brett Favre you’ll find a limited bar menu of burgers and burritos but the place comes alive Fridays for their "Wisconsin Fish Fry," serving up walleye, perch and catfish with sides of slaw and potatoes. Expect long lines, and reservations are a MUST for parties of 6 or more (they’ll serve 180 meals in a night with seating for 20) but it doesn’t get any more authentic than this out-of-the-way bar between Golden and Boulder.
