If you dig beer like we do and seek originality, this is the place for you. Being Boulder’s original brewery, they have had enough time to tweak their recipes and make some of the best beer you’ve ever had. The 'Koop can turn your dinner outing into a crazy long night. When you first walk in, you have a few options—turn right you end up in the bar, turn left you’re in the dining area, go upstairs and you end up in the Koop with pool, a shuffle table and tasty libations, or go downstairs to Impulse Theatre for some excellent comedy shows. Beer buff? Try Patty’s Chile Beer, you can actually smell and taste the jalapenos as you sip away. Also, word on the street says the fish and chips are some of the best in town.

As serious about biking as they are about beers, New Belgium's best known beer, Fat Tire, has cruised all the way from founder Jeff Lebesh's basement to becoming the company's flagship beer. Sponsoring a bike team and several projects in sustainability, this Fort Collins brewed beer is earth and taste bud friendly. In 2006 the GABF awarded two gold medals to New Belgium for their Le Fleu Misseur (Belgiam and French Style Ale) and La Folie (Belgian Style Sour Ale).
