McDonough's Irish Pub is one of the great Aurora strip mall bars. And we really have to give kudos to whomever it was that started the strip mall bar. Strip malls used to just be boutiques, dollar stores, and nail shops, but someone had the genuis to put the bar in there, too. Now when you have to visit the hobby shop or nails place in the strip mall, you can just slide on over to the bar afterwards for some fierce role-playing in your newly manicured Frenchies. McDonough's is like that - good, cold drinks, good company and a list of locals as long as their Wall of Shame for not paying tabs on time. Join them on the weekends for Irish bands or every day for a kickin' Happy Hour.
