Hurricane Bay gets upscale face lift

I was at Hurricane Bay the last two Saturdays in a row. The place is clean with a really good-looking crowd. I think the improvements they made to the club are incredilble! My friends and I feel SO relieved that there is finally a cool place on this side of town! BTW, my buddy works there as an off duty officer, and those cops are NOT there to harass the customers...They are there to keep the customers safe! Do you really think the club would pay them to be there otherwise??/ Anyways, come check it out...see for yourself!

I do not know what these people are talking about! Haters are sad people! Hurricane Bay truly has come full-cirlce and the Grand Re-Opening was packed! I will be there with my hot "non-hater" friends EVERY Saturday night! BTW...the NEW DJ's are amazing! Sitting in a Cabana enjoying Bottle Service is the place to be! I seriously applaud Hurricane Bay for turning the place around!

Hurricane Bay is ghetto and everyone knows it. Even the people who work there are ghetto. There is nothing they could ever do to change any of that. Nobody with dignity would frequent that place...

I think the place sucks, There is a charge at the door to walk in, then the drinks are way to expensive, and the crowd is scary. plus there are tons of cops that sit in the parking lot waiting for you to go into your car.

Apparently Metromix does not go out to Surprise? Brookside II does not allow Tanks, sandals, or any caps worn is poor style. They have DJ Paulie who plays TOP 40 Friday and Saturday with Video to all music. It is not Scottsdale in the West Valley as you will never have it, but it is more upscale than any other location I have heard in this article? Why do you keep pushing Hurricane Bay? Have you seen the clientelle that goes into this location, dress it up does not change the atmosphere just the appearance!

As much as I appreciate the business owners' attempts to stay current and competitive, why try to be something that you're not? I do wish them the best of luck and hope that the patrons appreciate the new digs.

And you could hang chandeliers in a bowling alleys and it won't change the gangbanger and mullet heads that go there either. Westsiders want a place they can dress up in there jerseys, flipflops and tilted baseball caps and make a night of it. That's why Scottsdale is considered upscale and westside is whiskey tango and no remodeling is going to change that.

It's a strip mall club with strip mall patrons. Making it pretty inside won't change the people who hang out there. Maybe if I had gang affiliations I'd be more comfortable in their club.

If they want an upscale club then give it an upscale name. Hurricane Bay is just a tropical storm of white trash.
